Welcome to my practice.

~ a quiet harbour for texture and sensation - space where art is experienced beyond the visual.
Here, painting, photography, and mixed media invite a slower, more intimate connection, inspired by nature, memory, and feelings -breaking boundaries between art and  "do not touch"

Welcome~

Here, art is not only seen but felt.

Rooted in nature and shaped by texture, my work explores the physical presence of art — where surface, sensation, and emotion meet. Through layered surfaces and organic forms, I invite you to slow down, connect, and experience art in a more tactile and human way. My practice brings together painting, photography, and mixed media to create works that invite intimacy, curiosity, and sensory connection.

One of the most familiar signs in museums and galleries reads: “DON’T TOUCH.”

Throughout my life, nearly every exhibition I have visited has asked me to experience art only through sight, leaving the sense of touch—and the deeper physical connection it can create—excluded. I believe many people recognise that quiet distance between artwork and viewer.

With my work, I aim to challenge this convention by inviting engagement through multiple senses. Over the past years, I have focused on creating more than paintings alone; I have been developing tactile experiences for both myself and future viewers. Texture, surface, and the physical presence of the work are central to my practice. I encourage my paintings to be touched, as if each surface extends invisible threads that connect directly with those who encounter it.

In the contemporary art world, the boundaries of how art can be experienced continue to expand. Where aesthetic pleasure was once the primary expectation, artists today increasingly seek to create immersive encounters. This intention guides my work: to allow the observer to explore each piece not through sight alone, but through a richer, multisensory experience.
